After failing to recruit Messi, Barca suddenly had another quality choice to replace M10 in the upcoming summer transfer window.
On the night of June 7, the transfer bomb named Lionel Messi was detonated after many days of anticipation. But the M10 destination chosen is Inter Miami, not the old Barca team as it is still rumored.
The Catalan club are said to have made an unofficial offer to Messi’s agent but could not reach an agreement for a reunion. However, right after failing to sign El Pulga, Barca received good news from another class star.
According to Sport, Neymar’s agent made a statement that he wanted to let the client return to his old team Barca as soon as Messi’s decision was made. The Brazilian star is even willing to significantly reduce the salary he is receiving at PSG of about 40 million euros/season to be able to return to Braugana.
On the Barca side, the lack of recruiting Messi makes them still unable to find a player capable of creating play to support super striker Robert Lewandowski above. And Neymar has absolutely enough class to play in that position, maybe even make the difference on his own.
However, the deal is still quite complicated because it has not been approved by Barca’s leaders. But if they really want to recruit Neymar, the budget they prepare for Messi can be poured into promoting a transfer.
Similar to Messi, Neymar also feels unhappy at PSG and wants to leave this summer transfer window. Previously, he was said to have been linked with a number of English Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Newcastle or MU, but now returning to Barca is the most preferred option.
