According to the French press, Ethan Mbappe – Kylian Mbappe’s brother for the first time trained with the PSG first team.
PSG returned to training after a tough 4-3 win over Troyes in Ligue 1 over the weekend. While some players are at the gym, others are still “swallowing the lesson plan” at the latest training session.
Among those players, the presence of Ethan Mbappe, younger brother Kylian Mbappe is a surprise. This 15-year-old player along with 5 other young players are fortunate to train with the PSG first team stars.
Besides Ethan Mbappe, there are also defenders Nehemiah Fernandez-Veliz, left-back Vimoj Muntu Wa Mungu, wingers Christ Mukelenge, Queyrell Tchicamboud and striker Ilyes Housni. At the recent training session, Marco Verratti, Vitinha, Carlos Soleru and Galtier were absent for different reasons.
Who is Ethan Mbappe?
Unlike Kylian Mbappe, who plays as a striker, Ethan Mbappe is a defensive midfielder whose main task is to dispute and recover the ball, not to score goals. However, Ethan has the ability to control the ball and technique, especially left-footed – different from Kylian Mbappe.
The boy is considered one of the most promising young talents in PSG’s training camp. At the age of 15, he made his debut in the youth Champions League. Ethan just renewed with PSG last month, until the summer of 2024.
Although Ethan has great qualities and abilities, PSG does not want to be “ripe”. They want this kid to develop on the right track. During the 2022 World Cup and with many players absent because of the national teams, Ethan may have the opportunity to train in the first team.
