Paris Saint-Germain have announced the sale of Kylian Mbappé.

Due to his continuing refusal to sign a one-year contract extension, the French striker has been left out of PSG’s pre-season tour squad for their trip to Japan. The Parisian outfit are aiming to make money this summer as they will not let Mbappe walk away for free at the end of the 2023-24 season. This despite widespread speculation that he will sign with Real Madrid in the summer of 2019.

There is no doubt that several potential suitors will be lining up to sign the 2018 World Cup champion, who is considered by many to be the best player in the world. Ever since Mbappé left Monaco for PSG in the summer of 2017, Liverpool have been rumored to be interested in signing him.

However, rumors that Jurgen Klopp wants the 24-year-old at Anfield have persisted ever since.

On the Spanish television show El Chiringuito de Jugones earlier this month, journalist Edu Aguirre even claimed Liverpool had made a €200m offer for Mbappé.
