According to sources from L’Equipe, the latest negotiations between Mbappe and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) continue to fall apart. The French team is ready to play a “double defeat” with the 24-year-old star.
According to L’Equipe, Mbappe and PSG have just resumed negotiations on a new contract. However, the French striker showed an uncooperative attitude. Negotiations reached a dead end before Mbappe’s resolute attitude. The player born in 1998 was determined to stay at PSG for one more season, before leaving on a free transfer.

Of course, PSG is not satisfied with Mbappe. They think that this striker has broken his promise. In May, the star born in 1998 promised the team not to leave for free, but to bring back PSG a sum of money.
However, in recent times, things have turned in a different direction. Mbappe still wants to stay for another year to receive 150 million euros in loyalty fee with PSG. If you want him to leave right in the summer of 2023, PSG (or the new team) must pay that amount.
Of course, no team accepts to spend 150 million euros (not including transfer fees) to own Mbappe. That is the reason that PSG’s partners (especially Real Madrid) have been “immovable” in recent times.

In that context, PSG issued an ultimatum asking Mbappe to cooperate with the team. This player has two options. One is that the French star signs a contract with the club until 2025. The second is that he has to accept being sold in the summer transfer window of 2023.
