Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, reportedly eyeing a transfer blockbuster, is PSG and Brazil forward Neymar. In the press conference before the match MU vs Chelsea in the Premier League match at 2 am tomorrow morning 26-5 at Old Trafford, coach Erik Ten Hag was asked about rumors MU is interested in Neymar. The Dutch strategist, has not exactly ruled out the possibility of recruiting Neymar in the summer transfer window.

The “Red Devils” of Manchester are expected to be busy in the upcoming transfer market, with the addition of a quality striker a top priority. PSG superstar Neymar has been invited to join Old Trafford.
News from international media said that MU has opened negotiations with PSG to reach an agreement to buy Neymar, while a number of other clubs are also eyeing the Brazilian star, typically Chelsea or Newcastle.
In the press conference, Ten Hag remained tight-lipped about MU reaching an agreement with Neymar and PSG when he answered the media with an open statement: “When there is news, we will notify the media. Friend”.

Neymar has expressed his desire to leave PSG after he was protested by fans of the Paris team to his home and the club’s headquarters. Previously, Neymar also admitted that he admires MU club, while noting that he may one day be “tempted” by the Premier League.
Speaking in 2017, Neymar said: “The Premier League is a championship that amazes me. I like the style of football and the teams there. And who knows, one day, I’d like to play there too. I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, these are the teams that are always there to fight.”
Neymar could be the third PSG striker to “change from Parc des Princes to Old Trafford” in the past few seasons. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the first to sign for MU before the 2016-2017 season, while Edinson Cavani arrived at MU in 2020.

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made 53 appearances for MU, scoring 29 goals. Meanwhile, Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani is loved by “red devil” fans, he has scored 19 goals in 59 appearances for the Old Trafford team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in all competitions.
