‘You’re not alone’: Mbappe and Neymar text Vinicius amid accusations of racism

In response to new racist shouts, Kylian Mbappe has put his support behind Vinicius Junior and made the statement below.

Vinicius witnessed a terrible display of discriminating remarks and gestures from the supporters at the Mestalla stadium during Real Madrid’s league match versus Valencia. This put him in a worrisome predicament.

The Brazilian quickly identified the culprits after demonstrating unyielding resolve to confront the problem head-on, which resulted in the brief halt of play.

Unfortunately, Vini was unable to complete the game after being given the boot during an altercation with some Valencia players in which the 22-year-old slapped Hugo Duro, which was recorded by the VAR, according to The Guardian.

After the match, he criticized Spain on social media, calling it a “country of racists,” and he also attacked La Liga for failing to address the ongoing racial abuse that has plagued the league, according to Sky Sports.

PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, who expressed his willingness to support the Brazilian, has backed the winger in his fight against racism.

Vini criticizes La Liga in the face of racism

In a related development, Sports Brief stated that Vinicius Junior had criticized La Liga, denouncing Spain as a “country of racists,” following another incident of heckling directed at the Real Madrid winger during his team’s league match against Valencia.

After Vini got into a fight with Hugo Duro and was subjected to racial shouts from the audience, the situation became so tense that Vini’s teammates had to step in and hold him back.

The outraged Brazilian winger vented his anger on Twitter, calling Spain a “nation plagued by racism” after encountering prejudice multiple times during this La Liga season.

Mbappe scores an amazing goal

Prior to this, Sports Brief noted that Kylian Mbappe kept up his scoring streak in front of goal as Paris Saint-Germain neared a record-tying 11th Ligue 1 championship.

Mbappe scored two goals in the span of two minutes, one of which was a golazo, to help PSG defeat Auxerre 2-1 on Sunday.

The Frenchman stunned his opponent with his dexterous footwork, knocking him to the ground twice, and then unleashed an unstoppable drive into the far top corner.

Vinicius Junior, who experienced racial abuse during a La Liga game, has gained the backing of a growing number of football stars, including Brazil’s president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Vini was subjected to racial chants during Real Madrid’s defeat to Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium on Sunday, May 21. Manager Carlo Ancelotti acknowledged this.

The incident started in the second half when the nimble winger, following a break in play, clearly spotted a spectator in the stands who was responsible for the alleged abuse. Then he engaged in conversation with the spectators there.

Sadly, the 22-year-old was given a red card in the game’s closing moments because he got into a fight with Valencia player Hugo Duro, according to CNN.

Since then, Vini has criticized Spain and La Liga on social media for their failure to address racist harassment while obtaining backing from a number of the game’s elite players, including Kylian Mbappe and the legendary Ronaldo Nazario.

Lula spoke during a news conference outside the G7 summit in Japan, urging FIFA, the Spanish League, and other soccer organizations to “take measures so we don’t allow racism and fascism to take over” the game.

According to The Independent, Lula stated, “It is not right that a poor youngster who is winning in his life and developing into one of the best in the world, if not the best at Real Madrid, be ridiculed in every stadium he visits.
